Paradise has a thriving LGBT scene that includes hotspots such as Piranha, Free Zone and Gipsy. This trendy area attracts a young, edgy crowd with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, which has a number of live music venues, including the Joint and Vinyl. It's also home to the Artisan's sister hotel, Rumor, an upscale boutique hotel with sleek South Beach decor and a dog-friendly "Yappy Hour" in the lounge. Next door, Kiss houses a "Hotter Than Hell" wedding chapel, featuring Starchild, Demon, Space Ace and Catman wedding get-ups.
Getting Around Las Vegas
If staying on the Las Vegas Strip, walking and taxis are the easiest way to get around Las Vegas. Renting a car is advised if you plan to explore the greater Las Vegas area. Taxis cannot be hailed on the street but are readily available at virtually all casnio entrances. Ask your driver to take side streets if you are trying to get down the strip.
