A popular wedding destination, Lake Las Vegas is home to the Lake Las Vegas Resort and the Aston MonteLago Village Resort, a picturesque Mediterranean-style lakeside resort. Seventeen miles away from the bustle of the Strip, the area offers gondola rides, golf, pedal boating, lake cruises, kayaking, fishing, and Jet Ski rentals.
Getting Around Las Vegas
If staying on the Las Vegas Strip, walking and taxis are the easiest way to get around Las Vegas. Renting a car is advised if you plan to explore the greater Las Vegas area. Taxis cannot be hailed on the street but are readily available at virtually all casnio entrances. Ask your driver to take side streets if you are trying to get down the strip.
