A Stay Fit For A Local at the Quadrant Hotel Auckland

Solo or Groups, Something for All

Express check-in and complimentary newspapers are some of the extras the Quadrant Hotel provides. These are especially helpful for those heading to the University of Auckland for a conference, or guests staying for a group weekend getaway with family or friends. The complimentary Wi-Fi, accessible in-room and on all hotel grounds, is somewhat slow but useful for planning any itinerary. There's much to see and do in Auckland.

In the Heart of Auckland

The 4.5-star Quadrant Hotel and Suites is in the center of it all, in a prime location for those who like walking as the preferred method of "transportation" when traveling. Be advised that the hotel is on a hill, which may add a challenge for some who opt to travel on foot. The University of Auckland, the largest university in New Zealand, offers some stunning views just steps away from the hotel premises. For some retail therapy, head to the city center and hit the boutiques at the Queen Street shopping district to grab the latest fashion trends, or head towards some of the city's main attractions include the City Art Gallery, Albert Park, and the Aotea Centre, all walkable from hotel grounds.

Plan to see the tallest man-made structure in the southern hemisphere, the Sky Tower. Travelers will see it all in just one glimpse at the top, taking in the 360-degree panoramic views over Auckland City.

Functional Guest Rooms

Quadrant Hotel Auckland reviews call the suites tidy and comfortable. Bathrooms, although compact, come complete with complimentary toiletries. Rooms also accommodate those looking for a more budget-friendly stay providing a fully functional kitchenette furnished with cookware, utensils, and dishware. Cook meals with local produce, order from the 24-hour room service or visit the Quad Kitchen and Bar, the on site café that serves breakfast, dinner, and drinks.

The Bottom Line

A great scenic hotel Auckland visitors can enjoy, the Quadrant Hotel is the lodging to book when those visiting New Zealand want to experience a taste of everything. From cultural sites and delectable local bites to a relaxing day in the spa tub, steam room, or sailing off the nearby piers, the 24-hour front desk and welcoming hotel staff will help guests find everything they're looking for during their stay in Auckland.

Rough Guide
Designer hotel chic without the high prices, this four-star place has a fresh appearance and great city and harbour views from the balcony of most of its 250 rooms.
Lonely Planet
Slick, central and full of all the whiz-bang gadgets, this apartment-style complex is an excellent option. The only catch is that the units are tiny and the bathrooms beyond small.
