Experience the Capitol at Hilton Austin

High-rise Elegance Close to the Texas State Capitol Building

Blocks from Interstate 35, and right in downtown Austin is the four-star hotel, Hilton Austin. 26 stories high, the high-rise hotel is walking distance from the convention center and a block from the 6th street Entertainment District.

Pamper Yourself with Spa Treatments or See the Sights

As the capital city of the State of Texas and the site of the University of Texas, the city of Austin has plenty happening, especially in the downtown area. You can visit the State Capitol Building and take a tour of the governor’s residence, or enjoy a leisurely and romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through the picturesque downtown streets.

If you enjoy shopping or nightclubbing, head on over to 6th street with its impressive array of stores, restaurants and clubs. For outdoor activities, there is the nearby Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail.

The hotel itself is not without activities. There is an outdoor pool and patio with beautiful views across the city and a 16,000 square foot health club. Spa treatments, including massages, are available for an extra fee.

Stylish Accommodations

Each and every room and suite in the hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, with amenities such as granite counters and vanities, flat-screen televisions with premium channels, movies on demand, a coffee and tea maker, and a minibar. Additional features include a two-line telephone, video games, a complimentary newspaper every weekday, an adjustable thermostat and high-speed WiFi. The WiFi is subject to an additional surcharge, however. Another unique perk is that the hotel accepts pets, up to two per room.

You can choose between a single king-size bed or two queen-size beds in a regular guest room or one of the 25 suites which range in size from 600 to 1600 square feet. Additionally, there are the executive-level rooms which have 350 square feet of space and come with either one king bed or two double beds. All executive-level rooms have spectacular views and in addition to all of the other amenities, guests are treated to a complimentary continental breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, and drinks at the honor bar.

The Hilton Austin Hotel is a world-class luxury establishment by Hilton Worldwide, catering to business travelers and people on holiday. Much less expensive than the W Austin, the Hilton offers comparable luxury at a discount.

Lonely Planet
Around the corner from the 6th St entertainment district... From the lobby you can see the waterfall crashing over rocks into the small pool (and hiding a whirlpool). Rooms are similarly sleek.
Ask for a room ending in the numbers '31' if you want a great view of the capitol from the northwest corner.

This pretty, colorful hotel complex was designed for relaxing stays, even if the reason you've come is a work-heavy conference.
