What Should I Know About DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Boston?

The 308 air-conditioned DoubleTree Suites are halfway between hotel rooms and apartments. You benefit from all the facilities you would expect from a 3-star Hilton Hotel, including an indoor pool, 24-hour business center, and concierge services, but the guest rooms are more spacious and better equipped for long-term visits. The outdoor restaurant and bar on the rooftop has panoramic views across Boston, and is the perfect place to have a cocktail and watch the sun go down.

What are the Rooms Like?

The rooms at the DoubleTree are huge, and are divided into different zones for different functions. Regular guest rooms are 326 square feet and have views across the Charles River, and suites include separate kitchen areas and a dining table for four. All rooms have a refrigerator, free Wi-Fi, and video game consoles to keep you entertained if there is nothing to watch on the 27-inch HDTV.

What Can I Do Nearby?

Take a walk along the banks of the Charles River and soak up Boston's cosmopolitan atmosphere. The hotel is close to Mass Turnpike and also offers a free shuttle service for easy access to downtown Boston and Harvard Square. Harvard University and MIT are both only a short distance away, so the hotel is popular with visiting academics and families. Whilst in town, don't forget to visit the Museum of Fine Arts, which has a superb permanent collection as well as world-class temporary exhibitions.

How Much are the Rooms?

The DoubleTree is one of the best budget hotels in Boston. Room rates start from $139, and so particularly if you plan to use the free Wi-Fi and shuttle buses, it is a very good deal indeed.
