Expert Reviews
The sprawling Hilton is one of the Loop's best choices for families, thanks to its indoor pool, proximity to major museums and Grant Park (where kids can run around).
The historic, 1,544-room Hilton Chicago once hosted presidents and dignitaries, but today it's just a massive chain hotel in South Loop, a little far from many popular tourist sites.
“Though showing some age”, this “old grand hotel” with an “exquisitely decorated” lobby is “still a classy place” where “helpful” staffers cater to a mix of conference guests and families.
