Hotel Lincoln: Stunning Views and the Zoo Next Door

What Do the Rooms Include?

Hotel Lincoln is located in the area of Chicago known as the Gold Coast. This historic district of north Chicago includes the Lincoln Park Zoo and dozens of mansions and elegant homes. Room layouts come with lake or park views, ensuring no matter which style you choose you'll have an amazing view. A work desk, iPod docking station, flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi mean you're able to relax or work in your room with ease.

What Amenities Does the Hotel Lincoln Offer?

If you're hungry, you won't need to go far to enjoy something great. Located on the first floor, Perennial Virant serves farm-to-table dishes that celebrate the best products the Midwest has to offer. The area was once the second most affluent neighborhood in the United States, and Hotel Lincoln embodies this luxurious turn of the century feel with modern amenities and services.

How Much Will a Stay at Hotel Lincoln Cost Me?

Rooms average $140 a night, a bargain for the location and quality of Hotel Lincoln. If you're organizing a meeting or staff retreat, the hotel is also a great and affordable option in downtown Chicago. For special events, Hotel Lincoln Chicago weddings are an event to remember. With 1,300 square feet of meeting and event space available, it's easy to customize based on your needs.

What Else is Nearby?

Hotel Lincoln's rooftop bar J. Parker was chosen in 2013 as the best rooftop bar in Chicago by Chicagoist. If you want to explore, there are two types of restaurants that are highly rated in the area: steakhouses and pizzerias. The nearby Lincoln Park and Lincoln Park Zoo can also provide a great space for an outdoor ceremony followed by a reception at Hotel Lincoln.

What's the Bottom Line?

You'll feel like you've gone back in time when you stay at Hotel Lincoln, but in the best possible way. With lots of trails through beautiful Lincoln Park and the best of downtown Chicago within a 10-minute walk, you really can't ask for more when looking for Chicago hotels.

Time Out
The complete overhaul of this 12-story Lincoln Park hotel (formerly a Days Inn) has been years in the making, and it looks as if it’s been worth the wait.
Not only is Hotel Lincoln plopped in one of the best neighborhood locations in town... it’s also among the most fun, lighthearted, and quirky hotels in Chicago.
Request a room on floors nine and up for the best lake views (you’ll pay about $40 more for it), and be sure to pop up to the J.
Directly across from Lincoln Park, this historic property has a fresh, cool, kitschy vibe but feels authentic thanks to details like the original Hotel Lincoln sign in the lobby.
For the best views, ask for a room on the ninth floor or above, facing east toward the park and the lake.
