More About Hotels near Edgewater...

Once the site of just a few large estates, by the early 20th century Edgewater saw a large influx of German immigrants. In fact, a statue of German composer Richard Wagner stands in Edgewater State Park, a gift given to the city by German immigrants in 1911. The park sits on the shores of Lake Erie and features great views of the Cleveland skyline, as well as a lovely marina.

Stay With a Local

There are a few options for lodging in Edgewater, including the Edgewater Estates Bed and Breakfast, but the cheapest option is to stay with one of several Airbnb hosts. Visitors can also check out nearby downtown for more choices.

Get on Your Feet

Residents often boast that one can walk to everything in Edgewater, even the park, so take a stroll down Clifton Boulevard where unique shops, trendy restaurants, and interesting nightlife abound.

Timing Your Visit

Summer visitors should keep in mind that crowds gather in Edgewater State Park for the Clifton Arts and Music festival, held on the second Saturday in June, and during the annual Festival of Freedom on the 4th of July, which features a fireworks display, so rooms may be more expensive and scarce.
