Families traveling with children will appreciate the Penguin Club, a free hotel service that provides supervised activities for children of all ages between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Dining options at Le Royal Meridien range from casual al fresco eateries to chic, contemporary Mexican, Italian, and upscale fusion restaurants. There is also a coffee and juice bar in the hotel lobby, an authentic pizzeria, and Al Murjan, an afternoon tea and pastry shop. All in all, there are eight restaurants and two bars, one on the beach and one poolside, which also includes a swim-up bar.
