Here, competition is high for home and international games. Al Shabab Al Arabic Club uses the stadium within the UAE Arabian Gulf League, founded in 1958. There are many hotel choices close to downtown Dubai, plus they are more affordable. Al Maktoum Stadium is close to Century mall where you can shop after a game. The Stadium is also close to entertainment like the Dubai Folklore Theatre 2.
If you’re staying near The Palm, it’s about a 45-minute walk. However, taking a taxi or the metro is easier. The stadium holds up to 18,000 people.
