An Unforgettable Escape on the Arabian Gulf

On the Sparkling Shores of Dubai

A 35-minute drive from the Dubai airport takes you to The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. From the second you arrive, you'll know you've landed in a desert paradise. The resort overlooks the famed and fabulous Jumeirah Beach. The luxuriant vessels at the marina add a sense of adventure to the air.

Enjoy the Westin's World of Activities

This family friendly resort has something to offer to every member of your clan. Small children can have a blast at the Penguin Kids Club, where there are plenty of games and activities to entertain them.

No one in your family won't love the private beach, with its enchanting white sand and warm water. When the sunshine gets to be too much, you can head inside to the full-service Heavenly Spa, where a divine massage and ultimate relaxation are waiting for you. To stay in shape, head to the Westin Workout gym, where there is complimentary bottled water. You can even borrow a pair of headphones or athletic shoes if you forget yours at home.

Delight your taste buds at one of the resort's restaurants. Enjoy Italian fare at Bussola, Thai at Spice Emporium, grilled comestibles at Hunters Room and Grill, or Spanish food at El Sur.

Attractions abound in the area around the resort. You are within a short drive of hot shopping destinations, including the Dubai Mall, which has an indoor ski slope, so you can have winter activities and summer fun in the same vacation. The Walk, a French-style promenade, is also nearby and sure to please. You can also check out the Dubai Zoo, Dubai Creek, and Jumeirah Beach Park. Windsurfing, golfing, and skydiving opportunities are nearby.

Rooms that Feature Lavish Luxury

This five-star hotel decks out each of its rooms with everything you need for a memorable, exquisite stay. Every room features a spacious bathroom with separate toilet and shower areas. The formal balconies and tasteful furniture add to the feeling of refinement.

Deluxe Rooms have all the basics you expect at a luxury hotel, and they are perfect for guests who plan on spending most of their trip exploring the resort and the city. Executive Rooms are more spacious and come with access to the Westin Executive Club, which makes these rooms a great pick for business travelers. If you have a big family or just want lots of room to spread out, you can book the Presidential Suite, which has two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a large living area, dressing rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The Bottom Line

The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina may not have the same striking architecture as the nearby Jumeirah Beach Hotel,* but it does have about half as many rooms, making it a quieter experience with most of the same over-the-top amenities. It is the ideal place to stay if you want to treat yourself to a grand desert beach getaway.

Fodor's
The first Westin resort in Dubai is a welcome addition to the burgeoning beach resort scene on Dubai's coastline.
Rough Guide
The newest of the beachside marina hotels, the Westin is a strong contender for the fiercely contested prize of Dubai’s tackiest hotel.
Lonely Planet
The top choice for water sports enthusiasts, this sophisticated beach resort sits next to the yacht harbour and aesthetically is a cross between a sheikh’s summer palace and an Italian palazzo.
