Luxury Doesn't Need to be Expensive

Convenience at Your Fingertips

Being in the city means having lots to see and do. If you want to window shop or pick up souvenirs, you will find plenty of opportunities to enjoy all that Dublin has to offer. Located in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) right in Dublin City Centre, the Clarion Hotel Dublin City is within easy reach of most of the city's must visit locations. You can easily access attractions by bus, train or car, and you can tour Dublin on foot as well.

Plenty of Fun for Everyone

Finding fun things to do while staying at the Clarion Hotel Dublin City is a breeze. Apart from lots of festivals such as Oktoberfest, St. Patrick's Festival and the Electric Picnic Music and Arts Festival, there are many attractions. Top attractions to visit whether alone or with a group include the Dublin Zoo and Dublin Castle.

Don't miss the chance to take part in the idyllic city's kayaking opportunities. If food tourism is more your speed, this is your chance to learn more about Guinness and have a taste of Ireland's famous brew when you visit the Guinness Storehouse. St. Patrick's Cathedral, which dates back to 1220, was built in honor of Ireland's patron saint.

Whether you are in the city for business or pleasure, accessing Dublin from your hotel is easy, and best of all, affordable on almost any budget.

Rooms Fit for a King

Choose from varied guest rooms options such as the deluxe king rooms with majestic views of the city and a King size Respa bed, or opt for a suite or the penthouse. Floor to ceiling glass windows provide a panoramic view of the surrounding Dublin landscape. You will not miss home with amenities such as digital television offering 51 channels showing both local and international programs; iPod docking and a Tea/Nespresso coffee-making machine.

Dining options include the Pantry where you can have breakfast, or have a sumptuous dinner at the East Restaurant where you can enjoy the ambiance alongside local residents. The East Restaurant serves tasty Asian dishes for a little something different. For a more relaxed atmosphere, have a drink in the lounge where you meet other visitors.

The Bottom Line

The My Place Hotel may be family friendly like the Clarion Hotel Dublin City, but it does not offer all the amenities savvy travelers have come to expect.

Yes, it's a chain hotel, and big with business travellers; but don't be put off. This is an excellent hotel: great looking, well run, fabulous location, decent prices and lots of extras.
