More About Hotels near Colee Hammock...

The white, hot shores of Ft. Lauderdale Beach and shady benches of Colee Hammock Park make way for relaxation. Unwind with a walk down Las Olas Boulevard, the social strip. Cheap Transportation and Hotels

The Sun Trolley is your best bet for transportation to and around Colee, Ft. Lauderdale. Convenient access from the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport is available via the trolley’s Airport Link route.

When it comes to booking a hotel, choose between cobblestone and surf. Many oceanfront hotels punctuate Marina Boulevard just outside of Colee on the Ft. Lauderdale Beach coastline. Colee remains within reach of the beach via The Sun Trolley’s Las Olas Link route.

There are several options closer to Colee, including Victoria Cottage and Pelican Grand in the Victoria Park and Las Olas Isles neighborhoods respectively.

Timing Your Trip

This neighborhood is no retirement community. Colee is a booming spring break destination for its powdery beaches, so plan your lodging accordingly. Tourism picks up October through April. In particular, the annual Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show — the world’s largest — begins in October and draws thousands of visitors kicking off “snowbird” season. Expect higher prices when it comes to hotels during this time.

Choose a local independent spot, such as the retro-style Premiere Hotel to save clams, or settle at an Airbnb-approved apartment or house in the heart of Colee for an affordable seasonal stay. For more options, consider the Ocean Holiday Motel (a budget option right on the beach) and the Kira-Mar, located on Las Olas Isles.
