Enjoy First-Class Opulence Near Piccadilly Circus

Part of the always fashionable Piccadilly area, The May Fair Hotel puts you smack dab in the heart of London. The hotel is just around the corner from the Green Park Tube station and a mere three minute walk from Buckingham Palace. If you came to shop, see, or be seen, this hotel is your headquarters. You're also close to the classic Changing of the Guard, the Royal Academy of the Arts, Regent Street, and the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! museum.

Decompress After a Day of Shopping

Offering everything from a steam room and sauna to free wi-fi, the hotel makes it easy to relax. Get a massage, body scrub, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, or even an Ayurvedic treatment. When it's time to indulge, the May Fair hotel restaurant is simply called the May Fair Kitchen, which features a wide selection of international and Eastern Mediterranean dishes. Alternatively, a number of top-shelf restaurants are nearby, including the outstanding Novikov. The May Fair bar can get active in the evenings, while the Cigar Room offers an extra touch of class. Ask about their masterclasses to learn more about the art.

Getting Down to Business

If you're here on business, avail yourself to one of their 11 meeting rooms lit by natural daylight. For conferences or other gatherings, the May Fair Theatre is one of London’s largest private screening rooms and comes complete with the latest technologies. If you're working with VIP's, be sure to work with the hotel's concierge service to help procure tickets, arrange a special surprise, or simply get things planned.

If you're serious about your workout, the hotel gym is ready for you. Open until 10pm on weekdays (8pm on weekends), the gym provides personal trainers to offer guidance and fun workouts while preventing injuries.

Room Amenities to Entertain

The five-star, 406-room hotel has a contemporary decor with Asian touches and a Sicilian marble bathroom complete with a power shower. While you probably didn't come to watch TV, there are over 400 channels available. The modern, spacious rooms are controlled by an iPad, allowing you to set the room temperature, order room service, and more. Rooms feature international power sockets, a nice touch that ensures you'll worry less about powering your devices.

A number of suites offer an opulent, exotic touch to an already spectacular hotel. The Penthouse Suite features a 100-foot-long balcony to add space to the 200 square meter room. The Azure Suite sports a home cinema system and an optional third adjoining room to complement the open fire and well-appointed living room space.

The Bottom Line

For a winning combination of both work and play, the May Fair Hotel is hard to beat. It's more fully featured than the nearby Halkin by COMO, more centrally located than Hotel 41, and offers many of the same features as the Haymarket Hotel, albeit at a fraction of the price. Come here whether you're hosting a seminar or hitting up London's fashionable scene.

Known for its celebrity sightings -- Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and various high-earning soccer players have been spotted at the Mayfair.
Once a part of the Radisson Group, this hotel has moved away from the chain's traditional image and adopted its own uniquely flamboyant identity.
Yes you heard right, May Fair Hotel bar does some of the best mojito's in town served up by mixologist Marios Ellas. And yes, this hotel is rather fabulous.
