Famous Historical Hotel in Louisville Kentucky

Historic Location

As the premiere hotel in Kentucky, the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville has a vibrant history.  Guests can marvel at the ambiance of this 1905 hotel, which was the location of Tom and Daisy Buchanan’s wedding in the famous novel, “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.  Outside the hotel’s doors is Louisville’s business and entertainment district, and Churchill Downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby, is minutes away.

See the Sights

The Seelbach Hilton is located in downtown Louisville and is close to many local attractions.  The Belle of Louisville, the oldest operating Mississippi River-style steamboat in the world, conducts sightseeing tours and lunch and dinner cruises.  At Falls of the Ohio State Park, visitors can explore fossil beds that are 390 million years old and tour geological and historical exhibits. The Louisville Science Center, the Kentucky Derby Museum, and the Louisville Zoo are also nearby.

Affordable Luxury Amenities

The Seelbach Hilton Hotel offers a variety of room options, including affordable, deluxe guestrooms and suites.  All rooms feature high-speed internet access.  Guests also have complimentary access to the hotel’s 24-hour fitness center, and massage treatments are available by appointment
