An 18th-century palace was the inspiration for this 5 star InterContinental hotel in Madrid, which is situated on one of the city's most famed thoroughfares. Located in the cultural and business district, this hotel is just minutes from the Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the Real Madrid Museum, Santiago Bernab?u Stadium, the elegant Serrano shopping street and the Royal Palace of Madrid. Standard rooms are elegant, contemporary classic and functional, with a spacious working desk. The bathrooms are decorated with marble and have a bathtub with shower, telephone line, hairdryer, bathrobe, scales and audio system.
