One of the most recognizable landmarks in Melbourne, AAMI Park holds the title of the "World’s Most Iconic and Culturally Significant Stadium," as awarded by the Stadium World Congress. The environmentally friendly rectangular bio-frame supports its trademark triangular patterns of glass roofing and rainbow LEDs that light up the city sky at dusk.
Less than half a mile from AAMI Park, you’ll find four-star Mantra on Jolimont with its restaurant, pool, and fitness facilities. Or book a room overlooking Fitzroy Gardens at nearby Hilton on the Park, where you can relax in the spa, sauna, or heated pool before heading to dinner at the Gallery Restaurant. Hilton caters to both business and family travel, even offering babysitting services. You can get a suite at the Adina Apartment Hotel for a similar price, or stay at the affordable Citiclub Hotel and enjoy its on-site restaurant and sauna.
Book Tickets and Parking Ahead
AAMI stadium draws crowds to the home rugby games of Melbourne Storm and Melbourne Rebels as well as the A-league soccer teams Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart. While you're there, stop by one of the many food stands or gift shops for a memento of your visit. Visitors must either call ahead for group sales or buy event and concert tickets from AAMI-approved Ticketek. Because AAMI Park provides limited parking spaces, plan to take public transportation or pre-book your parking spot at least 24 hours in advance.
