Try the Inexpensive Hotel Astor By the Beach and Lincoln Street

What Do the Rooms Include?

The barebones, loft-style rooms at Hotel Astor have lots of empty floorspace for stretching your legs and still have room for furniture like a sofa, desk, rotating TV stand, and one or two beds. While minimal in design, the rooms are very stylish with Art Deco decor in white, beige, and light wood. The marble bathrooms are beautiful with chrome fixtures and a glass shower door.

What Amenities/Features Does the Hotel Astor Offer?

Paying $15 a day per room gets you all the benefits of the resort package, including beach towels and beach chair rentals, concierge and maid service, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Valet parking is also available and highly convenient for those wishing to park nearby.

How Much Will a Stay at Hotel Astor Cost?

The cheapest room is only about $100 a night during the peak of summer. An even better deal is the Family Room, which sleeps six and goes for only $120 a night, making Hotel Astor one of the cheapest hotels in Miami Beach for groups. Get free continental breakfast and bike rental when you book directly on the hotel website.

What’s There to Do Nearby?

The Hotel Astor is within walking distance of Miami Beach attractions like Lincoln Street and, most importantly, the beach. Convenient shops for buying snacks and drinks to take back to the room are just across the street.

What’s the Bottom Line?

A self-sufficient traveler spending most of their time by the beach or exploring the area will find the Hotel Astor's staff and location very desirable. The rooms are also very affordable for a three or four-star hotel stay.

Expert Reviews
Built in 1936, this 40-room hotel was completely refurbished in 2002. It has retained many of its original Art Deco elements such as terrazzo floors and aluminum fixtures.
Deco standout that's chic and cozy at the same time. The lighting is very flattering as are the rooms with Frette linens and towels that are hard not to throw in your knock-off Birkin bag.
Time Out
The intimate lobby is softly illuminated and decorated in sandy hues, while the elegant bedrooms boast European king-size beds, imported cotton sheets and fleecy robes in the marble bathrooms.
