More About Hotels near Brickell...

Brickell, Miami: The Manhattan of the South

As Brickell continues to establish itself as one of the more upscale neighborhoods in Miami, it's earned the nickname "Manhattan of the South." Look for a mix of upscale luxury condos and apartments, foreign state consulates, and banking centers, as Brickell is regarded as South Florida's primary financial district. Wandering Brickell on foot is an excellent way to get acquainted with the neighborhood. Miami's cheap and efficient public transportation system connects Downtown Miami with the rest of the city.

Be warned that when it comes to hotels in Brickell, cheap and affordable are relative terms. Plenty of options under $200 a night are available, including JW Marriott Hotel, Fortune House, Four Seasons Hotel, and Extended Stay America. The famed Mandarin Oriental Hotel is located on Brickell Key, accessed by a pedestrian-friendly bridge.

Year-Round Fun in Downtown Miami

Brickell is centrally located in Downtown Miami and sees relatively higher hotel rates than some other neighborhoods. And, with a full year-round calendar of events, it's hard to really pinpoint the perfect time to book a Brickell hotel. Check the City of Miami's tourist site to determine if your stay coincides with a huge event like ULTRA Music Festival, Miami Fashion Week, or South Beach Wine and Food Festival.
