“Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.”

To truly experience Montréal life like a native, visit Marché Jean-Talon. Nestled in Little Italy, the market is packed most weekends. Locals travel there for fresh produce, live music and ethnic and Canadian cuisine. At its core you have venders selling everything from maple syrup to seasonal produce and plants. On its outer rim you have various ethnic and local shops. A trip to La Capital will give you excellent Italian produce and prepared foods. And you won't find better ice cream than what Havre aux Glace offers. If you voyage outside the market to the rest of Little Italy, you can find more Italian restaurants, shops and delis on St. Laurent. For authentic Italian cuisine at reasonable prices, visit Trattoria da Guiseppe & Pasquale de Colbert on Jean-Talon and De Normanville.
