“Travel can be one of the most rewarding forms of introspection.”
One of the world’s largest marinas, historic Old Port spans 15 miles along the coast of the St. Lawrence River. Running beside rue de la Commune just south of Old Montréal, its piers harbor old warehouses renovated to accommodate shops, caféterias and other tourist spots. The attractions you’ll find at Old Port include the Montréal Science Museum with its giant IMAX theater, flea markets, performance venues, shops and other exhibits. Catch scenic cruises on the river or stroll along the bike path and have a picnic by the water.
