McDonald Mansion’s Incredible Story

The 14,000 square-foot McDonald Mansion was built as a summer home for the family of Mark McDonald, who built the Santa Rosa Street Railway. The stunning house was used in the 1960 Disney film "Polyanna," and has recently been restored to its original Victorian elegance. Currently, the mansion is privately owned and not open to the public, except on special occasions.
