More About Hotels near Nassau International...

Near the Airport and Near the Beach

A short drive from the airport is the well-named, A Stone’s Throw Away, a quiet B&B with seaside views. Located in downtown Nassau and near markets and restaurants, is the British Colonial Hilton Nassau. This grand old hotel offers a heated pool and private beach. Also in downtown Nassau, is the Graycliff Hotel. The boutique hotel has on-site cigar rolling and chocolate-making. A more affordable option on the beach is the El Greco Hotel, with basic rooms and a friendly staff.

Getting to the Hotel and Back Again

Your first sight upon leaving the airport will likely be a line of taxis and resort shuttle buses.  The arrivals area of the airport has a list of rates for taxis, but make sure you and the driver agree on the price before you set off to avoid extra charges.

Where to Eat?

The Nassau airport has a food court and an outdoor patio, but it can get very busy. Nassau itself has some amazing dining options, from the cheap conch shacks on the docks beneath the bridge to Paradise Island, to fine dining like the Graycliff Hotel’s restaurant. The Traveller’s Rest overlooks the ocean but is close to the airport and features enough authentic, and affordable, Bahamian cuisine to sustain you for any trip.
