Wyndham New Yorker: Big Comfort in the Big Apple

What Do the Rooms Include?

As if the sweeping views aren't enough – each of the more than 1,000 rooms at this hotel is located on the 18th floor or higher – the Wyndham New Yorker offers free propertywide Wi-Fi and a TV in every room or suite. Blackout drapes block out the morning sun, however, in case you want to sleep in the city that never does.

What Amenities Are Available?

If you're hungry, New York's classic Tick Tock Diner is literally steps from the entrance to the Wyndham New Yorker. Alternatively, if you've enjoyed one too many amazing New York City meals, take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center.

What Are the Room Rates at Wyndham New Yorker?

You can book a single room at Wyndham New Yorker for as little as $229 per night, depending on the day of the week you book and what part of the year you come to New York City. Rates are higher for the two-bed metro room.

What's There to Do Nearby?

Wyndham New Yorker is located off 8th Avenue in New York's Garment District. It's literally across the street from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, while New York City's most iconic landmark, the Empire State Building, is just four blocks away.

What's the Bottom Line?

Wyndham New Yorker isn't a cheap New York City hotel, but its convenient location is priceless. Clean, comfortable rooms and an above-average selection of on-site amenities add to the appeal of the Wyndham New Yorker.

Time Out
The city's largest hotel when it opened in 1930, the New Yorker has put up such luminaries as JFK and Muhammad Ali.
The nice bright rooms, convenient location (next to Penn Station, 10 blocks from Times Square), and rich history make the 912-room New Yorker a reasonable pick for the price.
Today, it's a luxurious landmark where tourists come to sleep and New Yorkers come to sip coffee at the in-lobby cafe or eat at one of the two restaurants attached to the building.
