Come See Historic Clinton Hill

Established in 1854, Clinton Hill is a residential neighborhood in south central Newark, N.J. Clinton Avenue lies at the center of the neighborhood, which is bounded by Avon Avenue to the north, Hawthorne Avenue to the south, Elizabeth Avenue to the east, and Irvington Avenue to the west.

Clinton Hill served as the original site of the first M&M factory, but don't plan your trip around it because the location is now a vacant lot.

Another great place to visit is the B’nai Abraham, a Jewish temple built in 1924 that’s a must-see landmark. Visitors can travel to Clinton Hill at any time of year, but the warmer months may be better for touring houses.
