More About Hotels near Sundance Airpark Airport...

Fly into Sundance Airpark Airport to Discover Oklahoma City

Located in Yukon, a little more than 10 miles from downtown Oklahoma City, Sundance Airpark Airport is the largest privately owned airport in the state. Whether you are just passing through or planning to stay awhile, Hipmunk can help you enjoy your visit to Sundance Airport.

Affordable Oklahoma Hotels

Conveniently located just six miles from the airport, the two-star Fairfield Inn and Suites presents an ideal choice. It’s close to Lake Hefner Golf Course and features amenities such as complimentary Internet access, and outdoor and indoor pools. Boasting similar facilities, another popular airport hotel is the La Quinta Inn and Suites.

If you’d prefer to stay downtown, the four-star Colcord Hotel, although one of the pricier hotels in Oklahoma City, boasts amenities such as designer toiletries, flat-screen televisions, and iPod docking stations. With similar features and coming in at around half the cost of the Colcord are the three-star Bricktown Hotel and Sheraton Downtown Hotel.

Getting Around

Few hotels in the area offer a free airport shuttle. A 40-minute taxi ride into downtown costs a little more than $50, so you might consider hiring a rental car. If you’re just stopping by, perhaps to refuel, it’s worth calling the airport to check if a courtesy car is available.

Eating Out

Restaurants around the airport are generally fast-food outlets. For something more substantial, you should head toward downtown. There are no on-site restaurants at the Fairfield or La Quinta, but Chelino’s and Charleston’s restaurants are nearby. The Colcord and the Sheraton have their own restaurants and are within easy reach of the Cattlemen’s Steakhouse and the Deep Fork Grill.
