Budget Hotel Near Orlando’s Attractions

Prime Location on a Budget

You can check all of Orlando’s exciting sights off your list when you stay at the Days Inn Orlando on International Drive. Universal Studios and SeaWorld are within walking distance, and when you want to venture farther, Days Inn provides a free shuttle to Disney World attractions. After a warm afternoon spent splashing around only one block away from Days Inn at Wet ‘n Wild Waterpark, you can embark on an after-dinner outing to Congo River Mini Golf just across the street while the sun sets.

Convenient Budget Option for Touring and Business Alike

While visitors usually stay at Days Inn for the purpose of touring Orlando’s theme parks, many come through on business, as the hotel is only three miles away from the Orange County Convention Center. After a long morning at your conference, you can book yourself a rental car through Days Inn and shop all afternoon at Orlando Premium Outlets or Pointe Orlando, and then park in Days Inn’s free outdoor parking.

Basic Amenities Come With a No-Frills Drawback

With free WiFi in every room and the option of relaxing at the outdoor pool, the rooms are a great deal with options as low as $30. There is also the possibility of renting an extra roll away bed for $10, and borrowing a crib is free. You can also bring along your pet for $15. All rooms are equipped with an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer, and you can request a room with microwave, refrigerator, and writing desk if desired. Unfortunately the hotel requires some general updating, and nothing about the decor evokes a tropical Floridian atmosphere. Visitors report that the staff is not only unhelpful, but also cleans on an unpredictable schedule. Often there are not enough towels to go around, the air conditioning is not always working at full capacity, and the staff could pay more attention to detail while cleaning.

The Bottom Line

The Days Inn on International Drive is the right choice if you are a budget traveler looking to spend all of your time out touring the theme parks. If you plan on doing nothing other than sleeping at the Days Inn, it is the best deal for your budget. Similar options for you nearby would be the Comfort Inn* or Holiday Inn Express* on International Drive. Both are rated at two and a half stars, which may not seem like that much of a difference from the two-star rating at the Days Inn. However, the extra half star bumps up your stay by another fifty dollars per night, and while neither can be described as luxurious, you will see that the price difference amounts to a cleaner feel. The two and a half star Ramada Inn* on International Drive also offers a similar improvement in cleanliness, but may be out of your budget with room rates starting at well over one hundred dollars per night.
