Luxury Hotel at Budget Price Sets the Bar High for Orlando

Walk off the Plane into Your Hotel

Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport makes an amazing impression as soon as you arrive in the lobby, located directly inside the main terminal on level 4. Hotel staff will go to baggage claim and bring your luggage to your room while you check in. Day use rooms are available for showering and napping between flights, keeping the kids entertained on a long day of travel, or relaxing on your way to a cruise. This Hyatt is a participant in the Green Key Eco-Rating Program and is also known for being accommodating to guests’ diverse lifestyles. While there is no free shuttle service to Orlando attractions, there is complimentary WiFi, and the Roman-style splash pool on the 6th floor sundeck has a view of planes taking off from the runway that can’t be beat.

Award-Winning Dining Options On Site

Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport continues to exceed expectations when it comes to dining. They are the recipient of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence in recognition of their offerings at Hemisphere Steak and Seafood Restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner on site. Oenophiles can book a room at a discounted rate when attending Hyatt’s Food and Wine Experience dates listed on their website. Valet parking is complimentary during the fine food and wine-pairing event. McCoy’s Bar and Grill delivers local ingredients and even offers a healthy children’s menu and sushi bar. The Lobby Bar is open daily until 1am and promises to play your NFL games on the big screens.

Plentiful Layout Options for Your Room

Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport boasts a wide selection of layouts for your room, all equipped with a 37-inch flat screen TV. The Standard layout comes in the option of one king or two double beds, while those hoping for more floor space can opt for the Studio Style Junior Suite. Visitors coming to Orlando for business will consider the Business Plan King; breakfast is included in your reservation, and the hotel will press your shirt daily. Guests suffering from allergies should request a PURE Hyatt hypoallergenic room, and after such a luxurious stay at a budget price, you may consider subscribing to Hyatt’s Gold Passport program in order to accumulate points towards free nights with no blackout dates at any Hyatt worldwide.

The Bottom Line

Consider staying at four star Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress* if you priority is getting to the theme parks, as it is more centrally located. They provide a free shuttle to the attractions and even have a golf course and spa onsite. Marriott Orlando Airport is significantly cheaper than the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, but it is not located directly inside the airport terminal. However, they do provide a complimentary shuttle to the airport. Stay here instead of the Hyatt if keeping costs down is a priority for your trip. The chunk of money you’ll save will outweigh the inconvenience of taking a shuttle to the airport.
