More About Hotels near Hunting Park...

A Handful of Cheap Hotels

Hunting Park is far away from most of the tourist attractions that Philadelphia tourists would be interested in, however it is easy to get downtown via public transportation. The Hunting Park SEPTA station is on the Broad Street line which goes directly to City Hall and Center City. There are several bus lines that run through the area as well. Visitors walking in the area after dark should use caution.

The only hotel in the Hunting Park neighborhood is La Nueva Quinta motel on 5th Street (which is not affiliated with the national La Quinta hotel chain). A couple of miles away is the Days Inn Philadelphia, which advertises bullet proof glass windows and jacuzzi suites. Further south the Trenton Inn offers very affordable accommodation.

Visitors may want to consider staying further south near Temple University or further west across the river, where there are more quality budget hotels on offer, including North American Motor Inns, the Residence Inn Philadelphia, and the Bala Inn.

Avoid Summer for the Best Rates

Most visitors flock to Philadelphia in the summer months. Savvy tourists can find better deals, less crowds, and more pleasant weather by coming between March and May. Most tourists avoid Philadelphia during the cold winter months.

There aren't any major events in the Hunting Park area that affect tourism. During the July 4th festivities it may be easier to get a hotel in this area than closer to downtown.
