Direct Route to the City Center

Kingsessing connects to downtown Philadelphia via the Media trolley line, which runs along the northern border of the neighborhood, stopping at 49th Street and at Angora. The I-76 highway runs through the area, making it easily accessible by car. It's also easy to get to the airport from Kingsessing. Unfortunately, the convenient location comes along with some general decay and disrepair, including many abandoned and boarded up buildings.

There are no hotels in the Kingsessing neighborhood proper, but you'll find options farther north in University City. Although these are the closet hotels to Kingsessing, they are not within walking distance.
