More About Hotels near Logan-Fern Rock...

Lots of Public Transportation

Logan-Fern Rock is well-connected to the rest of Philadelphia. The hub of public transportation is the Fern Rock Transportation Center. The Broad Line subway terminates here, and connects residents directly to the Center City area. Three SEPTA regional rail line trains operate out of this station, and there are several bus lines that run through the area as well. Visitors should be careful walking late at night.

Aside from some authentic local restaurants, Logan-Fern Rock has few attractions of interest to most tourists. The area is largely residential, with a few strip malls and empty lots. High crime rates can be a deterrent to some from staying in the area. Additionally, hotel options in the immediate vicinity are limited.

The Days Inn Roosevelt Boulevard is nearby. It advertises bullet proof glass windows and high-speed Internet access. A better option might be to head west and stay at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue or the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia West. They are both close to Logan-Fern Rock and connected to downtown via public transportation, but are in a safer neighborhood.

Find Cheap Rates All Year Round

There aren't really any events in the Logan-Fern Rock area that affect hotel prices. Prices may rise slightly during the busy summer months, but most tourists prefer to stay closer to the major tourist attractions. It is possible to find cheaper rates for Fourth of July hotel stays in this area than closer to downtown.
