More About Hotels near Red Lion Airport...

A Private Airport

Red Lion Airport is a privately owned airport that is open for restricted public use. There is no air traffic control tower, and most of the  patrons are local aviation enthusiasts. The runway is 2880 feet long. On average, about 21 aircraft take off or land here each day. These are mostly single-engine planes, but double-engine planes, gliders, and helicopters fly here as well.

Red Lion Airport also offers chartered private jets for patrons. Mechanics on site perform repairs and airplane maintenance. There is no landing fee for non-commercial aircraft.

Vincentown is a Small Town

Vincentown is a small community with just a few shops and restaurants and no major tourist attractions.  The main attraction in town is the Vincentown Diner, which serves up delicious gourmet comfort food. There is also a local winery, DeMastro Vineyards, which offers tastings by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays. DeMastro produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir wines. Aside from this, there isn't a lot for visitors to see or do in town. Six Flags Great Adventure is roughly 30 minutes away.

For tourists planning to visit downtown Philadelphia, staying near Red Lion Airport is not a great option. It is about an hour away from Philadelphia by car and nearly two hours by bus and train. Visitors who stay in Vincentown will need a car to get around, as there is no local public transportation.

The Holly Motel is nearby and offers similar amenities. Slightly further away but more upscale, the Executive Inn Pemberton offers refrigerators and spa bathrooms.
