Ski-in and ski-out access

If you're coming to ski or snowboard, the Tahoe Summit Village in Stateline offers ski-in and ski-out direct access to the slopes. Choose from the two-bedroom condo (cheaper, yet still 900 square feet) or the two bedroom loft (1,200 square feet large). Either way, look forward to the jetted bathtubs, sauna, fireplaces, free wi-fi, and hot tub nearby. Rooms even come with kitchens to make dining in a little easier.

Reasonably priced and close to the beach

Whether you're ready enjoy the beach or skiing, head to the two-star Tahoe City Inn. Their rooms include pillowtop mattresses, refrigerators, and microwaves, and avoid the frills that make other hotels more expensive. Within walking distance are several restaurants, and you're also close to Lake Tahoe for the winter sports. Try the heart-shaped jacuzzis for  some additional fun.
