That's the time of the "Carnival" celebration, with people dressed in flamboyant costumes parading the streets. Are there Airbnbs in the Port of Spain?

Two come to mind here: Airbnb’s Business Travel Lodge, close to the embassies of France, the U.S. and Venezuela. It’s near public transportation, food, and shopping.
