More About Hotels near Hillsdale...

Great Shopping with Easy Access to Portland’s Sights

With plenty of great shopping in Hillsdale, it offers a less chaotic experience than the downtown area, with a family feel. The neighborhood is home to many great restaurants and bars with evening musical entertainment. The bus takes Portland visitors into downtown, though with an abundance of free parking in Hillsdale, a rental car would make getting around a bit easier. Travelers will find a weekend farmers market as well as a small food truck curt open all week. Hillsdale is a short drive from many Portland attractions, including the Oregon Zoo, Portland Art Museum and the Japanese Gardens. It’s also got easy access to I-5, so reaching the Portland airport is quite simple.

A Neighborhood Away from the Busy Downtown Waterfront

Downtown Portland hosts many festivals and events throughout the year, especially during the warmer summer months. May through September are the most popular months to visit and staying on the edge of town can be a bit more convenient with fewer crowds. Budget travelers can choose from Travelodge Portland City Center, Sixth Avenue Motel* or University Place Hotel. Those that would rather stay in a more personal and cozy accommodation will find the affordable Bellaterra Bed and Breakfast* closer to downtown and the boutique River’s Edge Hotel & Spa offers views of the Willamette River and rejuvenating spa treatments.
