Affordable Boutique Hotel in Portland

What’s a Hotel Rose Room Include?

While the public areas of the Hotel Rose are wild, fun, and unapologetically Portland, the rooms are a little more conservative. That's not a bad thing. The rooms are tastefully appointed in earth tones, with a memory foam bed, luxurious linens, and a walk-in shower. Other features, such as the Keurig Coffee Service and the 42-inch flat-screen TV, take traditional hotel room amenities and make them luxuriously useful.

What Amenities Are Available?

The Hotel Rose boasts a truly impressive array of amenities, everything from a fitness center and complimentary bicycles to free pineapple cupcakes in the lobby and in-house restaurant. This restaurant, the Bottle + Kitchen, is particularly notable, offering what it describes as "globally inspired, locally refined comfort foods." It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so be sure to check it out!

How Much Will a Stay at Hotel Rose Cost Me?

A room at the Hotel Rose is going to run anywhere from $125 to $299 per night, depending on when you book your room and which room you want.

Can I Bring My Dog to the Hotel Rose?

Yes! Not only can you bring your canine pal to the Hotel Rose, the hotel rolls out the welcome mat — or at least the dog bed, water bowl, treats, and disposable poop bags. There is a $20 per night pet fee, and a two dog limit, but neither stipulation is unusual at a pet-friendly hotel.

What’s the Bottom Line?

If you're looking for a cheap place to hang your hat while you pass through Portland, the Hotel Rose probably isn't the place you are looking for. However, if you are looking for the full "Portland experience," it's hard to beat the full culture immersion that you will find at the Hotel Rose.

Living here in Portland reduces my need for a hotel room even under the most altered states. My bed is always a train ride on Max away. But there are occasions when friends or relatives...
