Convenience and Affordable Luxury in Old Town Prague

Outstanding Views of the River

The Intercontinental Prague is a luxury hotel in the Old Town district of Prague. While it is in the same area as the Marriott Prague, you can't beat the views from the Intercontinental which directly overlooks the Vltava River. So you can enjoy entrancing views of the sparkling river from the rooftop restaurant, or from your own room. You can also gaze over the spire rooftops from almost every room on the upper floors.

Explore Old Town's Shops for Special Gifts

The Intercontinental Prague is the perfect base camp for setting out and exploring the Old Town's shops and restaurants. It is directly on Parizska, one of the most famous shopping promenades in the city. The avenue runs right to the banks of the Vltava River where you can take in exhilarating views of the waterway and the passing ships. Visit attractions that make Prague such a desirable destination like the Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge. The Tyn Cathedral and its skyward spires are just blocks away. The Old Town Square — a 600-year-old landmark is within easy reach, and the airport is only 20 minutes away.

Dine on the Rooftop to See the Spires

Dine at one of three restaurants at the hotel. Enjoy a gourmet meal at Zlata Praha, an elegant restaurant on the roof of the building. If you just want to relax and unwind, choose a casual sit-down meal with the family at Duke's Bar & Cafe. Then gear up for a day of sightseeing with a healthy breakfast at Primator overlooking the river. When it's time to relax, swim a few laps in the heated pool and rejuvenate in the sauna or solarium. For a more fulfilling experience, head to the newly updated full-service spa, complete with facial and cosmetic treatments.

A Suite Offers More Space

The rooms in the Intercontinental embody the IHG standard of comfort and convenience. Each has modern appliances, flat-screen TVs, and updated interiors with either a river or city view. Executive rooms include a sitting area, while the suites offer a full bedroom and two bathrooms. The Presidential Suite includes 2 full bedrooms, a kitchen, and antique decor.

The Bottom Line

The Intercontinental Prague is a luxury hotel offering everything you need in a convenient location. It delivers exceptional value in a comfortable and modern atmosphere. Perfect for your next family vacation, quick couples getaway, or a business trip.

DK Eyewitness
An imposing 1970s building set on the banks of the Vltava, this hotel has excellent health and fitness facilities and a swimming pool.
A riverside window might give you a glimpse of the castle or at least the metronome at the top of Letná Park across the river, where a massive statue of Joseph Stalin stood in the 1950s.
The Telegraph
The Intercontinental’s Brutalist 1970s exterior might not be about to win any architectural prizes, but — thanks to a great location, a classy restaurant, a pool and spa area and plush...
