Expert Reviews
In this landmark building, the public rooms... are all opulent; guest rooms are just as elegantly furnished, like mini châteaux, with gold and green touches.
All around Canada, the Fairmont chain owns many of the most prominent properties, and they're often spectacularly sited. Le Château Frontenac is no exception.
To avoid the institutional feel, opt for one of the new 46 Gold Level rooms.
Rough Guide
Thanks to its location and history it’s the most expensive place in town, with splendid rooms and views, antique furnishings, internet access, first-class service and the stately Bar St Laurent.
