Member of The Leading Hotels of the World, created in 1889 by the architect Gaetano Koch on the exclusive Via Veneto, the Majestic Roma Hotel was a grande dame from the beginning, with a Carrara-Marble lobby, a ballroom with a fresco ceiling that could hold 120 people and all you would expect of downtown's premier hotel. The Majestic Roma is a veritable jewel of neoclassic elegance, within walking distance from the Borghese Art Gallery and Gardens and the heart of the city shopping district, Spanish Steps and Via Condotti where all the major houses of fashion have their ateliers. The Majestic offers 98 rooms which share an understated elegance that manages to deliver the sophistication one expects. A brand new concept of elegant modernization of traditional forms and techniques. The hotel also host a famous Restaurant, Filippo La Mantia, which features traditional Sicilian food with a modern flare. During warmer months, guests dine on the terrace overlooking Via Veneto. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
Guests enjoy complimentary access to the 24-hour fitness centre which features a domed ceiling and flatscreen televisions, and contains cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. Complimentary bottled water and fruit is provided, and personal training can be arranged (surcharge).
