The opulent new interiors, from the lobby to the Grant Grill, blend updated Art Deco furniture and decorative objects seamlessly with the belle époque bones of the hotel.
"Beautifully appointed" rooms with "wonderful" beds are a highlight of this "elegant" 11-story "grand old lady" at the northern edge of the Gaslamp Quarter near Horton Plaza.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the old-but-new hotel features 270 guest rooms, 47 suites, two bi-level penthouse suites and an eleventh-floor technology penthouse.
