Experience Breathtaking Views of the San Francisco Skyline at this Luxury Hotel

Staying at Union Square, a beautiful plaza and shopping district in the heart of San Francisco, is an amazing experience with the right hotel. The Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square is your gateway to the perfect San Francisco vacation. This clean, spacious hotel will make you feel like a VIP without charging VIP prices, and your proximity to San Francisco's finest shopping, entertainment, and nightlife will delight you.

Contemporary Accommodations in Union Square

Located less than a block from Market Street and within short walking distance from Union Square, the Parc 55 Wyndham sits right in the center of downtown San Francisco. This neighborhood is full of art, shopping, fine dining, and entertainment. Walk from place to place in this extremely walkable neighborhood, or take an iconic cable car up and down the hills of the city. The bay is a straight shot down Market Street, just a short cable-car ride away.

Take a Cable Car to Explore Downtown San Francisco

Once you've checked in, eat at one of three restaurants at the Parc 55 Wyndham. Cityhouse Restaurant is a fusion of modern American and European cuisine. Barbary Coast is a coffeehouse and upscale deli, perfect for grabbing your coffee and breakfast on your way to explore San Francisco, and Kin Khao serves up everything Thai. The hotel also offers an extensive fitness center that is open 24 hours.

Union Square is a mecca of upscale shopping, from boutique stores to all the major retail classics. While you're downtown, stop in at one of the abundant outdoor cafes and enjoy the crisp bay weather. Check out Cupcake Cove or the Happy Donut Factory for a sweet treat. Hop on a cable car and ride to Fisherman's Wharf, where you'll find some of California's best seafood. Then take the short cable-car ride to nearby Chinatown to see the famous Dragon Gate and follow Grant Avenue, San Francisco's oldest street.

Every Guest Feels Like a VIP

Guest rooms at the Parc 55 Wyndham feature recently renovated contemporary designs and furnishings. Guests can book a premier room and receive beautiful unobstructed views of the skyline through a floor-to-ceiling bay window. The bathrooms offer a spa-like experience with marble countertops, custom toiletries and massage shower heads.

Suites come with all the amenities of traditional rooms, but with the extra space a separate living room provides. Rooms come with fully stocked minibars and coffee makers, perfect for late-night and early-morning beverage needs. All 15 suites sit on the top three floors of the hotel to offer perfect views of San Francisco.

The Bottom Line

At the Parc 55 Wyndham, you'll find elegant, contemporary rooms, and luxurious suites. The boutique Villa Florence Hotel is located nearby and offers similar room prices and an authentic Italian feel, but lacks the spacious suites and crisp design that the Parc 55 Wyndham boasts.

Expert Reviews
While this high-rise hotel caters to executives, it sits in a great location for all types of travelers, just minutes from Union Square.
"Fall off of BART and into bed" at this "super-convenient" Downtown "favorite" (now a Wyndham), which offers "elegance and comfort all the way."
It's a fine choice for Union Square, four blocks from the theaters and fashion boutiques, but the nearby Marriott and Hilton hotels are both very comparable.
