The 200,000-square-foot building created in a Moorish Revival architectural style was completed in 1914. It was used as a National Guard facility until 1976, and in 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The building sat vacant for decades apart from being used in filming Star Wars. Today, the building is owned by Kink.com, a porn studio that has cleaned up the building but changed very little of its original architecture.

While the armory is now owned by an independent company, you can still enjoy tours to get a view of the inside and learn more about the filming industry that operates in the building today. Tickets are only sold to individuals over 18 with valid I.D. Tours are 90 minutes long and take guests through all five floors, including through various adult film sets. Kink offers private paid tours by reservation.
