Stay at a Top Quality Hotel in a Historic Building

Enjoy a Prime San Francisco Location

The Westin St. Francis on Union Square sits directly across from San Francisco's Union Square, which means a variety of restaurants, shops, and nightlife are at your fingertips. In addition, the hotel rests along the city's cable car line. Vacationers can hop on the affordable cable car simply by walking out the front door.

Additional San Francisco attractions are within your reach when you stay at the hotel. Head to Chinatown for one-of-a-kind souvenirs, watch the sea lions play on Pier 39, or walk through the Japanese Tea Garden inside Golden Gate Park.

Soothe Your Body and Relax Your Mind in the St. Francis Spa

One of the most attractive features of the Westin St. Francis on Union Square is the fully equipped spa. Here you can indulge in a hot stone massage, a manicure, or a vitamin C facial. Next, you'll want to spend some time in the WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio. You'll be impressed with the top-of-the-line machines that have their own digital music, as well as the locker rooms, which are equipped with steam rooms for releasing harmful toxins from your body.

Hotel amenities continue with several dining options. First up is the Bourbon Steak Restaurant, where only organic foods are served to guests. Next is Caruso's Cafe, which serves everything from coffee and pastries in the morning to soups and sandwiches for lunch. Other great options include the Oak Room Restaurant for any meal or the Clock Bar for an evening cocktail.

Delight in a Wide Selection of Guest Rooms

The Westin St. Francis on Union Square knows that every guest has his or her own unique needs. That is why the hotel offers eight different room types to choose from. Your choice among classic or traditional guest rooms offers affordable pricing with such amenities as a 37-inch flat-screen TV and a rainfall showerhead. The deluxe guest rooms have bay windows, extra storage space, and executive work desks.

When it comes to the line of suites, you're sure to get the best of the best. Suites feature high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. The floors are marble, and a variety of impressive artwork decorates the walls. Suites also have separate living rooms and bedrooms for additional space and privacy. Suites can only be booked by calling the hotel directly.

The Bottom Line

If it's luxury and elegance you're looking for, then the Westin St. Francis on Union Square is the hotel for you. The hotel even caters to vacationers who are traveling with pets, as man's best friend deserves nothing but the best as well. When it comes to other area hotels, you just can't beat the service you'll find at the Westin. Other comparably priced hotels, such as the Palomar San Francisco, a Kimpton Hotel, may have some of the same amenities, but fall short in other areas. For example, the Palomar has limited dining options and no steam room.
