Contemporary Luxury

Great for Business Travelers

Although this 4.5 star luxury hotel is family friendly, a larger proportion of its guests are business travelers. It is located outside the heart of downtown but has a number of nearby attractions in the Arts District to attract tourists and families. A number of amenities for business and luxury use are available, as you would expect at this level of service.

Business Mixed with Pleasure

A large convention space and business amenities provide superior business services. This includes a conference center and conference space as well a restaurant and lounge for catering and cocktail mixers. With some items to please, such as an outdoor pool and spa treatment center, guests can also enjoy the finer side of life. A medium-sized hotel with almost 200 rooms, it provides a number of amenities you would expect at this size and star level of hotel, including self parking on site for a fee, a 24 hour front desk, laundry facilities, fitness center, wedding packages, and porters. The multilingual staff also helps guests find what they need.

Superior Room Amenities

As a luxury hotel, amenities are where this hotel truly shines. The standards such as free WiFi, toiletries, and newspapers are supplemented by other high-end amenities such as pillowtop mattresses, bathrobes, minibar, 24 hour room service, slippers, and a luxurious rainfall shower head. Other great services include turn down service, valet service, professional desk space with wired or wireless internet, and cable and satellite TVs. With four room categories including classic, deluxe, junior, and executive suites,  there is an ideal size for most travelers.

Near the Arts District

Although not located in the downtown core, the InterContinental Sao Paulo is near the Arts District and a great shopping district as well. Getting downtown is easily accomplished in under 30 minutes by taxi or public transit, bus, or subway. The Museum of Art of Sao Paulo is a mere five-minute walk, and the Paulista Avenue shopping district is only two blocks away.

The Bottom Line

Unlike the Hilton Sao Paulo Morumbi, the InterContinental is much closer to downtown and is well placed in the Arts District. The location helps guests avoid the busy downtown core, but it's close enough to provide convenient access. The InterContinental has a better overall customer satisfaction rating and can generally be booked cheaper as well. Stay closer to the action, with better service and pricing.
