Although the building was first constructed in 1937, it wasn't given National Historic Landmark status until 1982. Frank Lloyd Wright constructed the buildings with the help of his students and using items that were readily available in the desert. Tours sell out fast, so make sure you book in advance. Special group rates are available for groups of 15 or more. You'll get to see Wright's living quarters, as well as the Music Pavilion, and the Garden Room.
