Breathtaking views of Camelback Lake and the McDowell and Camelback Mountains are the highlight of any stay at The McCormick Scottsdale, the ideal base for an Arizona vacation. The only lakeside resort in Scottsdale, the hotel is next door to two 18-hole championship golf courses at McCormick Ranch; and staff will be happy to arrange tee times at over 100 courses in the area.

Guests can enjoy tennis on three resort courts, play volleyball on the grounds or hike in the mountains. Watersports include canoeing and paddle boating on Camelback Lake; and fishing off the beach. The resorts pool features a waterfall and scenic views from the pool bar.

Located a short drive from Phoenix and three miles from Old Town Scottsdale, the resort is expected to unveil their renovated guest rooms this Fall 2014. The regional theme continues in the Piñon Grill, serving local and American cuisine; and Diamondbacks Bar and Grill for snacks and drinks through the day. And the resort offers excellent facilities for social and corporate events, with 13,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

The Millennium Resort feels less upscale, and more run-of-the-mill, than some of the competing Scottsdale resorts in this price range.

Located five minutes north of downtown Scottsdale, this boutique resort offers views of nearby Camelback Mountain. ... The emphasis here is on golf.
