A Time for All Seasons

From skiing in winter to festivals in spring, Ballard is busy. Summer is peak season, but the many conferences from June through August mean higher hotel room rates and less availability. Visitors can find additional budget hotels in Greenwood and the University District less than 20 minutes from Ballard.

Tidbit/Advice

The best time to visit Ballard is during the fall from September to November. The city is vibrant with fall colors, temperatures from 40 to 70 degrees, and numerous festivals including the annual Earshot Jazz festival. With summer crowds gone, hotels have ample room availability at budget prices.
