Avoid South of 200th Street for Best Hotel Selection

The SEATAC area offers lots of cheap hotels along International Boulevard. Most travelers want to stay north of S. 200th Street. 

The Red Roof Inn Seattle Airport (a two-star hotel), the Red Lion Hotel Seattle Airport (three-star), and Knights Inn Sea Tac Airport (two-star) offer free Wi-Fi, parking, and complimentary airport shuttles. The front desks are open 24 hours so late arrivals needn't worry they won't be accommodated. 

The Residence Inn Marriott Seattle South/Tukwila offers the amenities of home with kitchens, free Wi-Fi, and a fireplaces in the rooms. Complimentary airport shuttle service, parking, and breakfast are also offered.

Take Sound Transit to Seattle

Most hotels near Sea-Tac offer free shuttles. For those who don't want to rely on hotel shuttles and prefer to stay downtown, SeaTac is connected to Seattle via Link light rail service. It runs from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. weekdays and costs an economical $2.75 one way for the length of the service.

There are also taxis available and cars may be rented at the new rental car facility by taking a shuttle from the airport. Shuttles to rental cars run 24 hours a day

Late Night Bites on International Boulevard

For late arrivals, International Boulevard is the best bet with several 24-hour restaurant options on Fridays. Most of the airport eateries, like Seattle Taproom, close between 10-11 p.m. However, the Runway Grill is open from 5 a.m. - 1 a.m. Starbucks, Qdoba, McDonalds, and Hudson News, featuring Alki Bakery, are open 24 hours.
