More About Hotels near Saint Edward State Park...

Low-Cost Hotels are Near the Interstate

Because Saint Edward State Park is over 300 acres, most of which are on the banks of Lake Washington, there aren’t many hotels nearby. With that said, a few miles east of the beautiful park is Interstate 405, which has a number of affordable hotel options at almost every exit.

The Courtyard by Marriott, Motel Six North, Comfort Inn, and Baymont Inn are all right off the interstate in the charming town of Kirkland. A little further south of the state park, the La Quinta Inn & Suites and Woodmark Hotel are budget-friendly options that offer stunning views of Lake Washington.

For More Hotel Options, Go North

Just north of Saint Edward State Park in the town of Bothell, the low-cost hotel options expand to include Country Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, Springhill Suites by Marriott, and Extended Stay America. All of these hotels are conveniently located off Interstate 405 as well, which makes traveling to and from the state park a breeze.

Northwest of the state park, at the tip of Lake Washington, the hotel options continue with Embassy Suites, Days Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Best Western. These hotels are located in the towns of Alderwood and Lynnwood off Interstate 5, which is the main freeway on the western side of the lake.

Things to Do in Saint Edward State Park

Whether you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of Seattle or you’re traveling from one state park to the next, Saint Edward State Park has a lot to offer. There are public picnic areas all over the park as well as miles of wooded and lakeside biking and hiking trails.

When it comes to entertaining the younger crowds, there’s also a massive playground in the middle of the park. And, for something a little unique, the park also features a garden alcove grotto, which was used by monks and priests for meditation during the park’s earlier days.
