More About Hotels near University of Washington...

Plan Ahead

When you search Airbnb, you’ll find around forty available rentals in the University District, which is the closest area to the University of Washington. You can find rentals that are only half a mile from the stadium. Prices range from $31 per night to $300. Depending on your budget, you can rent a single room, an entire house, or an apartment with a great view. Many of them are within walking distance to the University. Rentals range from studios to two bedrooms. These are great options if you’re traveling with friends or roommates and want to split the cost of a place to stay.

Find a Budget-Friendly Hotel

If you prefer to book a hotel, you’ll find several University District hotels that are budget-friendly. This gives you the luxury of being close to the stadium and enjoying a nice hotel stay when you come in for the game. Seattle University Travelodge is the most-booked hotel in the area, with rooms starting at $142 per night during football season. Hotel Deca is a more luxurious hotel in the area, and has special packages available, with rooms starting around $229 per night.  These hotels are great options for families flying in to see the game.

Less Expensive Hotels

If you’re looking to spend a little less, you’ll want to stay in one of the area's cheaper hotels. Days Inn Seatac Airport rates start at $58 per night and the Ramada Limited Tukwila/SeaTac Airport closely matches that at $59 per night. Skyway Inn Seatac rooms are available for $45 per night, but rooms at the slightly more expensive Best Western Airport Execute are $89 per night. For a bit more luxury, try the Clarion Hotel Seattle Airport, which charges $97 per night. These hotels may not be in the University District, but you can’t beat the price. Be sure to look into car rentals or alternate sources of transportation to get you to the game. If you’re flying in for the game, then these hotels will put you right by the airport, ensuring a quick check in and check out, as well as convenient access to their airport shuttle services.

The Best of Both Worlds

Occasionally, you will find cheaper hotels in the University District. The College Inn starts at $66 per night and Eastlake Inn rates start at $85. These hotels don’t offer all of the amenities some nearby hotels offer, but they put you where you want to be for the price you want to pay.

Best Location for You

With several different lodgings and hotel options, you’ll want to determine which is best for you. If you’re looking to stay in or near the University District to be close to the stadium, a rental is your best bet. If you can afford a larger budget, one of the hotels in the University District may work perfectly for you. If you are determined to stay in a hotel, but can’t afford the University District hotel costs, a cheaper hotel outside the District is your best bet. Once you’ve booked your room, you’ll know if you need to add a car rental and parking to your budget, or if you’ll be within walking distance of the game.
